17:17:00 +07:00 Elon vs Disney - I know a lot of people really hate Musk right now. There have definitely been some of his decisions that I've though were very dubious, but I've often found myself thinking the mob is doing that thing when it over reacts bigly with enormous rightiousness, then later back tracks.
Anyhow on the Disney thing, I thought Musk's approach was awesome. He felt they were black mailing him, and he said so strongly, in public, dispite the fact they are a huge source of revenue and historically have been an american darling. You can't get much more free speech than that.
I'm puzzled by all the haters, are they on Disney's payroll? Yeah it sucks that the company is currently worth a lot less, 70% is brutal, but if he can rebuild it back up it will be much better for it long term without customers that feel they can push him around whenever it suits them. Ultimately it's better for users, even if it's a difficult period. #
