Email paradigms are trending - Just finished listening to latest Citadel Dispatch discussion all about Nostr development. They spent nearly the entire time talking about email based paradigms. I fell asleep about a quarter of the way through, when I woke up, they were still talking about inboxes and outboxes. I honestly can't tell if it's a massive piss take or not. Email paradigms seem to be trending at the minute. #

Illness update - Still feeling mostly okay. No coughing, no flem, though slight strange taste in my mouth. So that's encouraging. However, ankles are still swollen despite two days of applying anti-inflamatory cream.
The other weird thing is that earlier as I got back to were I am now, about 30 metres down the road, there was a pile of seemingly random business papers thrown about the place. A4 sheets of paper, folders etc. As I passed I noticed that there was a big pile of xrays. Actual medical xrays. All the xrays were of pairs of lungs.
What the fuck is that about? Intimidation much?
This was after a day full of escallations everywhere I went, including being blocked from drying clothes and sleeping blanket.
Had I not found a way around that blockage, I quite literally would have had to sleep in wet clothes and under an actual wet blancket. This while I'm trying to recover from actual suspected pneumonia. Once again, the world is not only blocking me from getting well, but actively trying to make me ill again.
And guess what, I was later punished for getting around the blockage. Punished for saving my own life. #

Meta’s Smart Glasses Are Becoming Artificially Intelligent. We Took Them for a Spin. - I'm super curious about these glasses, especially in the age of the Vision Pro. Sometimes a device that just does the basics is good enough. I was under the impression that they had a heads up display, but I guess that's not the case. That would be cool so you can read basic text. Anyway they look pretty good, even with a mustache. Fun article. www.nytimes.com #

Reddit shares plunge almost 25% in two days, finish the week below first day close - Happened after Reddit executives sold off over a million shares. Not investment advice, but I would have though this might be good time to buy up some Reddit shares at the new low price. www.cnbc.com #

US and UK Probe $20 Billion of Crypto Transfers to Russian Exchange - Interesting data point. It was using stable coin Tether which seems to be very popular, especially in developing nations, from what I have read. Based on this looks like it doesn't offer much in the way of privacy. www.bloomberg.com #

Three Cool (to me) Node.js Features - I didn't know about any of these either. A node --watch flag that is a built in replacement for nodemon, node --env-file which is a built in replacement for dotenv and styleText which gives you the ability to add colours to your console output, basically a built in replacement for chalk. Great writeup. www.raymondcamden.com #
