OpenAI’s Sam Altman is becoming one of the most powerful people on Earth. We should be very afraid - I haven’t heard much about Altman in the past month or so. I found this hit piece kind of intetesting because (1) he’s still being painted as the bad guy at least in main stream media, (2) it’s actually quite well written, and (3) it really illustrates how main stream loves to turn everything into some sort of Hollywood movie. It feels somewhat comically out of step with what's been happening in Tech IMO. Also I heard that the car he’s driving is the most ridiculous electric vehicle in existence. www.theguardian.com #
