US, UK and EU sign on to the Council of Europe’s high-level AI safety treaty - I’m not sure how important such a thing is, though probably worth knowing it exists. It looks like it’s seeking to bring together a whole load of similar sounding initiatives that already exist. One thing that raised my eyebrow: signing countries are committed to a "circular requirement".
