18:38:00 +07:00 Worse version of sorry - The way people here, especially the young, use the term 'you learn', which for many appears to be their favorite thing in the entire universe, is like a non-submissive version of sorry, if you were using sorry maliciously, as some people unfortunately do. As long as they say that then the malicious thing they just did to you is totally fine, because well, they helped you learn a thing you didn't know about. It's a totally acceptable thing to say at anytime to foreigners, anywhere. Oddly they even say it to each other a lot, which I find strange. Wouldn't you expect that they would say it in vietnanese? This happens with a lot of english words btw. It's really strange.

You learnt about a vulnerability you weren't aware of, and so actually they're brilliant! The fact that in an infinite universe you can never know everything, so there will always be something you'll need to learn, that's not relevant at all. Shut up foreigner, 'you learn'.

We aren't talking about small things either, some of these 'learning campaigns' which they no doubt use to refer to them, can take days or even weeks to pan out. It's like some sort of secret citizen military operation or something. Mindboggling. Such infinite proudness. #
