This year has definitely been the year I took my blogging to the next level. The stats speak for themselves:
- 199 blog posts
- ?? notes
- ?? links
- 49 newsletters
For comparison, my previous record for blog posts was the year before, where I wrote 48 posts. So that’s a 4X improvement. And there’s also the links, notes and newsletters. I’ve written a lot this year.
The big change was finally being able to implement the blogging virtuous circle. It’s a methodology I’d been thinking about for a long time but only this year did I manage to make it technically possible on the website, by adding the notes feature, as well as the everything page. I’ll likely hit 200 blog posts by the new year.
Since it’s the end of the year. I thought I’d do a bit of a retrospective, and pull out my favorite pieces. Many of the posts link out to interesting podcasts, so you’ll have some nice things to read aswell as some fun things to listen to for the holiday break.
It’s a very eclectic mix of topics, including space, programming, futurism, blogging, philosophy, artificial intelligence, science, music, bitcoin, crypto, politics and life. There were all sorts of fun things to explore and write about this year.
