EU elections: Macron to dissolve French parliament after crushing loss to far right - France seems to be somewhat at the centre of much of the election drama. It's kind of shocking that Le Penn has done so well, getting twice the support as Macron did. In what has been described as a poker move Macron has called a snap national election in response. Exciting stuff. Interesting that it will happen only a few days after the UK's snap election, which was called last week by Sunak. So much happening in Europe at the minute.
