Google researches have carried out a “Quantum Supremacy” experiment and been able to run a calculation in 200 seconds that would normally take 10000 years on today’s supercomputers - IMHO it would be more impressive with a slightly less stupid experiment name - Ordinarily I would be wondering if it ran NodeJs but I guess NodeJs is probably roughly equivalent to caveman pictures now, my enthusiasm for quantum is pretty low ai.googleblog.com #
