I haven't been posting many links recently. That‘s the thought that occurred to me earlier. I've been busy coding mostly. Anyway I decided to go for a bit of a search for some interesting posts. Pretty quickly I found 4 blog posts that sounded interesting from their titles. This post, this one, this one and this one. I go them all on Hacker News main page.
So I opened all four in 4 separate tabs, git myself a coffee and started reading. Each one starts out looking like it might be something kind of interesting, either because of the topic, or the design or the page, the way the information is organised. But each one upon reading a few paragraphs, I just wanted to die, overcome by such intense boredom, that I lost the will to live and was not able to finish any of the articles.
What is going on? I'm finding it hard to believe that all these articles are written by humans. It's like they have all the appearance of articles written by humans, but they are hollow, like biting into a really nice looking chocolate only to find it is completely empty inside. Just words. Blah blah blah blah. Nothing drawing you in. This is not the internet I remember. Where has the real internet gone?
Oh well. Perhaps tomorrow things will pick up.
